Process
Applications must be filled out, signed, and sent to the FBCA Weekday Childhood Ministry office. An application fee of $85.00 is required for your child’s application to be processed.
Registration
Initial Registration for the 2024-25 school year will start on February 5, 2024 and end on February 26, 2024. Please contact Teri Stewart (teri@fbcalexandria.org) for information about the school and to schedule a tour.
Wait List Policy
For 2024-25 school wait list will be maintained for each age group and the school will use the wait list to fill vacancies that occur until the end of February 2025 . There is one wait list for each age group. You will be e-mailed when spaces become available. Please note that the wait lists are not carried into the next school year’s registration period.

Tuition & Fees
FBCA Weekday Childhood Ministry is a non-profit organization. Fees are used to defray operating expenses and vary depending on the age and number of days the child attends. A child’s placement in classes is based on the child’s age as of September 30th of the enrolling year.
There is a non-refundable application fee of $85.00 per child. This fee must be paid with the application.
The Activity Fee is paid once a year and is determined by the age of the child and the number of days the child is in the school. The Activity Fee is non-refundable.
Tuition for the half day program is based on the age of the child and the number of days the child is in the program. This tuition is a yearly amount which is divided into equal payments. The tuition amount will be in effect for the duration of the school year. Tuition is paid a month in advance. All payments are due on the 1st of the month. After the 10th of the month a late fee will be assessed. FBCA Weekday Childhood Ministry will refund tuition 30 days after the date a written notice of withdrawal is received or postmarked. Tuition refunds will be prorated.
Co-op options and scholarships are available to give parents the opportunity to lower yearly tuition costs.

Extended Care
Extended Care applications will be available once a child is placed in FBCA Weekday Childhood Ministry. Extended Care fees are based on an hourly rate of $15.00 and are paid monthly in advance.
Extended Care is offered to Preschool children from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, 2:00 to 3:30 pm, and 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
